Teaching methodology
The course talks about 4 aspects of Design Thinking:Observation, Imagination, Function, and user group. The course is divided into 4 sessions, each of which talks about one aspect of design thinking. The sessions include hands-on interactive exercises. After every session, a small exercise is given to the participants which are discussed at the beginning of the next session.

- Introduction to Shapes, Forms and Textures.
- Deconstruction and understanding the forms of commonly used products. (exercise based)

Understanding Design Thinking

- Introduction to Design Thinking: Observation, Imagination, Function and Use.
- Introduction to Interior Design.

- A short study of vernacular architecture to understand the implications of site analysis.
- Decoding the ideas behind design using examples from industrial and architectural design. (exercise-based)

- The relation between function and space/product.
- Understanding volume and scale.
